they held a concert "SHINE"
I went of course
the concert is free
but it's RM20 for the tickets and it's going for charity
so entertainment and charity...good cause
I went because of Reza Salleh
and I got pictures and videos
but I will upload later...my digicam needs to 'recuperate'
so I went because of him
but my gosh
it was worth every penny
because the other acts were awesome

but I cam back with my aunt Farah...:P

gave around a kilo to my aunt.....
a kilo I boiled and made sambal the next day
and a kilo my second bro cooked in his special sauce...
and I also bought a kilo of huge prawns....
I cooked them today with 'cili padi'....sedap!!!
I'm a seafood freak....
I might just die of high blood pressure due to all the 'kolesterol' that I am taking....
need to exercise....tomorrow morning going for my morning swim again...
and I better hit the gym...whee
it's hard to believe....as lazy as I am...I actually love exercising

it's been awhile since I updated my blog...by means...properly that is
my aunt...the good one...as far as I am concern for now...
she gave me RM60 as a birthday present and asked me to buy Eclipse with it
because yesterday I was telling my dad I wanted to get it
and she heard me....
so yeah....so sweet of her...
yet I feel bad....
because I don't like it when people feel oblige to give me gift...even on my birthday...
my father is an exception of course...
it's only natural a spoiled daddy's girl depend on her dad a lot

speaking of my birthday
on that very day itself....truthfully...
I actually forgotten my birthday was that day...
I mean of course I know it's my birthday...but I kinda forgot
so Pattie, Ranjeetha, Mel and Marcy sang Happy birthday to me...in class
and Ms. Lilian heard...she shook my hand...odd but...I was embarrassed and flattered...
really I was...
they were making fun of me because my face turned very red...
and thus... the whole "Pink-Boyband-Fangirl" name came out again...T_T

after that Ranjeetha and Pattie treated me in Secret Recipe...
I was...whoa...
okay...that was really thoughtful of them....
the first person who wished me birthday was Lyssa...
then it was my bestfriend...Jue....all the way in Johor....
miss her alot...

my Mak Teh gave me RM50....
the people in BP wished me birthday when I came for the appointment and they bought me a Secret Recipe
went back home...my dad wished me...
and numerous of birthday wish messages...
my sis called the day before...to inform me that I am old...
no longer a teenager...there's only the number 2 and 0  in my age now...
T_T.....but she called all the way from India...
and my friends online left me a lot of messages...birthday wishes...

and on Saturday....my second bro cam back with his gf....
he bought me a whole Secret Recipe Cake
and my dad decided to held a birthday party for me
invited my relatives...the good ones...and his friends...
he bought Satay.....and my eldest bro made tonnes of fried noodles...
there was so much food...I swear I gained 3 KG....the after party horror....
but it's not everyday so....yeah

Sophia's phone went haywire....
she got a new phone and she lost all of her number
so yesterday after my English Literature paper....
she wished me birthday....Ravi, Indu, Kabilan, and Ravi...and even Deva....

and oh...my bro's fiance wished me happy birthday too...
can't msg her back...no credit...

I can safely say...this year's birthday ...was one of the best...
it made me realize how I am always surrounded with love
I'm so glad I met all of my friends...
they have always been there for me
and I intend and will do the same...
I wish and hope this beautiful friendship will last a lifetime...
it surprises me how much my brother spent on me...for the cake...
since Secret Recipe is expensive...
he is quite stingy...
but then...it's not really the money....it's the thought that counts

so my dad asked me on Sunday...
so how was it?...did you like it...
I said thank you...for everything
thank you for giving me everything that I have now...
I feel so spoiled...
for the first time in my life..I don't think I mind if anyone call me a spoiled brat
I mean with so much love around me...
I'm bound to be one...

even with problems around me...and my family....
these events and gestures showed how much
those problems are too petty to be taken seriously....

Growing up really is a complicated process.......

p/s: I got another interview...from a PR company...somewhere in Damansara...am excited...and daunted...

p/s: I have to give credit to my sis here...she send my birthday present all the way from Hyderabad via DHL...express some more....a Mughal history book and a Hyderabad cuisine book...mesti mahal kan?

but since her laptop and her Maxis 3G decided that they don't like me...
they went superbly gay on me

so today I'll be writing about what I wrote yesterday

first was that I went to watch Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix with my bro
his gf, my cousin and Farah....
it was okay
I think it's one of the best Potter films made...
very close to the book and...yadayada
was disappointed with the last one
because I love book four
and I expected too much I guess
but they did no justice for book 4
no Quidditch World Cup
no Veela...
no Leprechauns...
etc......and Cho was just eye candy
but film 5 ....there's changes too
like the one who ratted on the was Cho...
while in the book was Cho's friend...
but I still think that film 5 is okay....

moving on from that....now I shall talk about an AU (alternate universe)
that me and Pattie thought of
I went for my treatment and kanzeon went with me
was super sweet of her
she waited almost 3 hours for me...
*in tears*....
we had our dinner at Annalakshmi,,,
so it was all Veggie...yummy veggie food....
after that I sent her back...
on the way back when I was about to make a U-turn  in Taman Connaught
she saw McDonald's and she said that

P = Pattie   I = Izy (me)

P: "McDonald's a place that never sleeps, that it seems creepy"
I :  "a place where people who can't sleep hangs out"
P: "it's so wrong, it's like a hang out place for vampires"
I : "like the Cullens?"
P: "ooh...what if they work there?"

and we created a new name for McD....McCullen...
and all the Cullens are working there....
in case you're clueless...
we're talking about Stephenie Meyer's books and characters...
since we're very much obsess over it

and we created and imagined a whole AU
where they all work in McCullen....
Edward as the guy taking your orders...
and since he can read minds...it's an easy job for him
and the customers won't even need to utter a word
Emmet will be the one in charge of grilling the burgers...
and there's Rosalie...taking orders too...
but she's a guy magnet...so basically McCullens will be flocked with guys
and Emmet will get jealous and Jasper had to use his power
to control the situation
to soothe the havoc and chaotic atmosphere into a calming one
and Alice will be predicting how many customers are coming

then there's a scenario where Bella came
and Edward thought he can just read her mind on what she wants to order
but since he can't read Bella's mind...
he got very frustrated and disappointed...
which he ends up offering her everything that are available on the menu....
Carlisle and Esme will be working as the admins for McCullen...
and McCullen is a subsidiary company under McVolturi...
the menu in McCullens are really special...
there's the Emmet's special...Grizzly bear burger...
and Edward's special....mountain lion burger...
and etc...
and there's actually more but I don't think the whole journal will be enough, though....

Pattie came out with a new nickname for me

why?
because my face gets hot and pink when I get excited

gosh I'm so stuck on DBSK's song Lovin' You...
it's not really their style to go so mellow...
they do sing ballads but...their trademark is more on their dance songs
and they all looks so hot dancing man...like so hot....hot hot hot...

I saw Audrey's ones too...it was under mine...
I sent him soft copies of my assignments too
so if anything happens now...

it was funny they had all these Transformers stuff around
and a mannequin of Optimus Prime...

then after that went to Absolute Thai...
had Green Curry Chicken with glass noodle...
it was so delicious....
after done with lunch went to IKEA to get my sis's stuff...
they're currently renovating the showroom for next year's collection,,,
and from the looks of it...me likey...:P
and they have new quilt covers...and green...and the beds and the sofas and the arms chair...
and the new graffiti-fied book rack...me love...
and yes I was alone yesterday...
so Pattie please don't kill me...

apparently I am on a Gackt high...

Patricia...she was high on Bonnie Pink...since she just came out with an album...like today
and we were chatting on MSN....and she mentioned Gackt...and we went on and on...
about Gackt and my husband You...:P
and after that I went to checked on the DEARS LJ community...

I know that Gackt is going to form a band with Sugizo and Yoshiki...and rumours that Miyavi too....
apparently much to my delight...it is final...that Miyavi will be in the band....which will be named S.K.I.N.
what it stands for...I still don't know
and they'll be performing at the Anime Expo this 29th of June...
The World Premier of S.K.I.N....the Americans have all the best act from the East to perform there....

since I've been of the Gackt network and radar for so long...
since college had been consuming all of my fandom and fangirlness

to reminisce back on those days when I was a super fangirl
and how me and Lyssa always chat on MSN while making up stories...make-believe stories
on going out a double date....me with my husband while she with Gackt...
it was fun...and hilarious when I think back of it now...

I remember when I was working in KLIA I often wished that
some Nihon celebrities would just pop up to buy stuff at the shop that I was working at...
well...a Nihon onna did popped up...a lot of times...she's married to some rich Hongkies and is super gorgeous
and she can speak Malay too...
often I see her there....every time she's there I'll ask her the same question...
"You love Malaysia so much that you have to fly here every week?" ....
and she always gives the same answer ..."All my friends are here in Malaysia...it's lonely in Hong Kong..."
she's that rich that she can just fly up and down from Hong Kong to Malaysia just because she's lonely and bored...
some people just have it all....

so nervous ....I have two mid terms this Thursday and my Ethno presentation still not finish...so much for making it brief...
the good news is...tomorrow Patricia will be hyperventilating in front of me...due to Bonnie Pink's new album
and maybe a new chapter for Nousatsu Junkie just came out....
the other good news is...my best friends Jue is back...just now...she message me first thing when she arrived home...
missed her so much....planned to hang out with her this Saturday night at a nearby mamak...just to catch up with each other
miss her so so much...

anyways, it's getting late...I better head of to bed now....
and maybe I'll update more on my fangirl-ism....and maybe more book-ism....
